Rise of the Monkey (aka Simon Edwards) is an independent Illustrator & Graphic Designer based in the North West of England.

I have over 20 years of design experience in print & digital design.

I also enjoy working on self-initiated projects, which has led to setting up my website in 2009 to showcase my passion for Graphic Design and Illustration.

It also gave me a platform to learn and improve my web design and HTML/CSS skills.

Over the years, this has developed into a passion for Print, Illustration, Web & Vinyl Figures.

I have a wide range of influences; UK & international illustrators & designers, anime, books, comics, film, music & travel.

I like to stay active by playing American Football for Lancashire Wolverines and Basketball with friends. But most of all I enjoy travelling as much as possible.
